Pada kesempatan ini saya akan memposting sebuah tulisan yang berjudul ” Pidato Bahasa Inggris Tentang Perpustakaan “. Pidato ini pernah saya gunakan dalam lomba pidato saya, Tetapi sayangnya karena penyampaian pidatonya yang kurang mulus akhirnya saya kalah, dikarenakan saat itu saya demam panggung 😀 :D. Untuk kalian yang akan berlomba pidato Bahasa inggris berdasarkan pengalaman saya sebelumnya yang perlu kalian perhatikan adalah
- MENTAL. Kalian memang benar benar harus mempersiapkan mental kalian, karena kalian akan berbicara di depan orang ramai dan semua mata tertuju kepada kamu yang sedang tampil. Memang tampaknya gampang dan seolah olah kalian bisa dan menganggap itu gampang, tapi di saat kalian sedang tampil disitu lah kebenaran ucapan kalian akan diuji :D.
- Persiapan. Saat kalian tampil Teks tidak dapat kalian lihat lagi sebagai acuan, oleh karena itu saya sarankan banyak banyak lah kalian mempelajari teks pidato kalian. Jangan menghapal ! , kenapa saya katakan jangan menghapal, karena jika saat kalian tampil misalnya kalian lupa dengan konsep sedangkan metode latihan kalian adalah menghapal konsep maka saat kalian demam panggung kalian seolah olah akan blank 100% dan sulit mengigat kembali dan akhirnya GAME OVER . Saran saya adalah sebaiknya kalian PAHAMI konsep naskah pidato kalian. Maksud di PAHAMI disini adalah dipelajari satu satu kerangka dari pada konsep pidato kalian, sehingga jika kalian lupa konsep kalian bisa improve untuk mengembangkan naskah pidato kalian. Kemudian yang terakhir jangan lupa memberi makan dulu terhadap fisik agar bisa mengimbangi mental kalian.
Baik itu mungkin kata pengantar dan tips dari saya tentang lomba pidato, nah dibawah ini adalah contoh pidato tentang perpustakaan yang saya katakan tadi, baik langung saja di simak ya .. 😀
Good morning ladies and gentlemen
first of all let us say thanks to the almighty God , TME, who has given us his mercy and blessing, so that we can attend this meeting without any obstacle in this happy place and time. And we shouldn’t forget to say Shalawat and Salam to our prophet, Muhammad SAW who has guided us from the darkness into the brightness and messenger along with all the families and companion. May we all get the helped in the day after.

Before i start my speech, i would like to introduce myself. My name is STEVEN. And i come from SMKN 6 TANJAB TIM. I would like also to say many thank you for all who has given me a chance for standing here to deliver my speech in front of you all in the topic about “Library is Source Information”
Ladies and gentlemen
Now, we all know and realize that we’re all in the whole new generation. The whole new era. What actually era is it ? the globalization and the challenge era. Every step that we take in this era must be full of calculation of what we got and what we have to release. In this era we have to know the meaning of one famous proverb which is very proper for the people itself. “no sacrifice, no victory”. It means that if you want to get your ambition, you must start it with release the other thing that you used to do.
In this era, we don’t need a people who always lazy, waiting for a miracle, or still hope and wishing for something comes true. Nowadays ladies and gentlemen the world must add up with a hard worker person, an intelligent man or an iron heart woman. It’s not only stop there, to face the globalization era, we must enlarge our insight , guide our heart and fulfill our mind with as much as possible knowledge that we can earn. But the question is how can we get them all ?
Ladies and gentlemen
You know what ? my grand of grandfather ever said that if you wanna “beat” your era, please understand and learn your surround. It’s the problem. Whereas, we know that we can use the resource surround us, although we know that book is the source of all knowledge or even though we agree that doing is better than talking, why don’t we start it from now ? until now, there is no specified answer for my question. It’s the time for us to answer it and to solve the key how to be success in the challenge era.
As i said just know that we need many knowledge to face the challenge era. Book is the window of the world, it contains many things which we because to improve our skill. But now let’s we think together, if book is the window of the world. We need a key to open it. And this key which i call, a library. If we can get at least 10 new things from only one book, imagine how many knowledge that we could get from one library.

library is the best place for all strata of people who want to improve their knowledge efficiently and effectively. But nowadays people prefer using the internet to coming the library. Most of them said that library is not modern, not up to date or kamseupay. The else said that going to library is useless. How can they said such as that bad things to the library meanwhile they need book and some other information in library. The people who don’t know the true meaning of library, they are the true kamseupay.
Ladies and gentlemen.
In this modern age, people have been influenced by the technology which maybe have not been mastered by them
When we hear the word library, in our minds immediately imagined a series of books arranged neatly on the shelves of a room. This opinion seems right, but if we want to consider further, it is not yet complete. Because a stack of books arranged on the shelves of a bookstore cannot be called as a library.
Library means a room or building used for storing books and other publications which are usually stored according to specific spatial arrangement that used the reader is not for sale
In the library, resident can gain knowledge as much as possible , from which interest related to common problems
Ladies and gentlemen
Library can help teacher to find the teaching resources and can help students train towards responsibility and speed up their process of mastery of reading techniques
Library is repository of knowledge , which for all people without distinction based on any criteria , because the important of the library, the collection of book that are in it should be able to accommodate all parties . .Sfrom young until old people
if someone has already feel benefits in the library, it’s not by compulsion again he entered the library with a smiling heart, because he know that there was something bigger that he will get from the library
Ladies and gentlemen
In this my speech I can conclude :
First, the library is the source of all information.
Second, the library is a non-formal education facilities, especially for community members who could not get the opportunity of formal education.
Third, the library is facilities or places of cultural arts development of the nation, through books or magazines.
Fourth, the library while providing entertainment for the readers “““
And fifth, the library is an important means for supporting a scientific research, as a reference or references.

Nah,, gimana menurut kalian pidato saya bagus kan. 😀 Cuma sayang sayanya aja yang demam panggung. Okeh tentu segala sesuatu ada kelebihan dan kekurangan masing masing, saya yakin teks pidato saya tsb masih banyak kekurangan, jadi silahkan kalian konsultasi dengan guru mata pelajaran bersangkutan agar ada nya penambahan sehingga hasilnya pun menjadi maksimal. Satu lagi tambahan saya pidato yang baik sebaiknya memiliki conclude atau kesimpulan jadi jangan lupa ya.. 😀
